As usual keeping busy! But wow things are flourishing around here. Lots of heat and lots of rain mean a great garden and also too many
Misquitoes!
We've had a pretty enjoyable summer so far- lots of camping as usual. And also enjoying our place. We hVe been so blessed with some new toys that were given to us. Making the summer pretty great.
I've also been trying to get on the many projects. The list really never ends. But there is that sense of accomplishment you feel when you can finally cross something off!
My plan of attack is conquering what I feel like doing and things that have a deadline. Pretty simple. Things that have deadlines are usually gifts for birthday parties. I made 2 fort kits for some birthday boys - what a hit!!

Turned out really nice.
Now I have to finish a couple of baby gifts and another birthday and then I can focus on my own sewing again. Which hardly happens- its usually for the kids anyway. We've been bitten by the " batman" superhero bug. So I made some masks and a girls cape to go with the capes the boys already have. It's been great.
Just around the corner is garden harvest and canning. I hope my tomatoes yield! We has a pretty bad hail storm a month ago that nearly wiped them out.
Anyway. That's all for now. I will post again soon. With pics of what I've been working on!
