Yupp It's been forever

The word busy, is really an understatement when you have a young family...  Hence why blogging isnt at the top of my priority list.

BUT - I have been accomplishing things. Basically for the gifts for this Christmas I decided I wanted almost everything to be partly home made.

I did a bunch of wreaths...

I really enjoyed doing these, and I am going to make myself a purple one soon.
I also had this crazy love for pillows this year.. for some of the lil' friends ...

For the life of me I cant figure out how to turn these pictures around.  :)  Also I promise that the letters were in the middle, but the angle that I took the shot at....not so great.

Basically for 2012 I have a couple of things I am going to work on goals wise... one of them being I am going to start an online shop - selling some of my "creations"  I am not doing this to make a profit, but really as a creative way to offset the cost of my hobbies.  Basically I have a business that generates a loss... which helps with the tax situation with my consulting business :)  It's all good...

I am looking to launch in a couple of months, selling mostly hairclips, and pillows :)
It is going to be great and I am actually excited about it.  Now I can "write off" all these things I love to create!!!

So stay tuned as I will be announcing it here.. I might be making the site the location of my blog too.. but maybe not, maybe I will just link them.  We will have to see.

Other goals for 2012...

• 5 pounds to go by May1 (I already lost 10 of the 15 I was trying for!!!)
• decorate my house - time to unpack those last few boxes of home decor and get them all the walls!!
• make it don't buy it....  this is a hard one - but it will concern everything - from cooking to gifts for my kids...

Anyway, I have others but time to share is up!
