Funny thing, when I first found it I thought it was pronounced P-interest.. another reason why I am NOT and English teacher. HA HA!! Its Pin-terest...because you digitally "Pin " ideas, pics, tutorials, whatever to your boards.. I think it is absolutely amazing, and I got to say I have been feeling creative like you wouldnt believe!!! AND I have the data bill to prove it! I had to shut my data off on my phone, so I wouldnt go anymore over the limit. In going "offline" a bit, it has been a nice break. Even though technology is amazingly helpful, it is nice to take a break sometimes and not be "always on". I think I am going to make it a habit...
Ya, so add a million things to the list! But in the mean time, I have been decorating my house with Pumpkins :)
and dealing with harvest storage. My hubby made me an awesome storage cart for underneath the garage landing. It houses all our potatoes and onions. I still have a bunch of carrots in the ground... but next week it will be nice again, and I plan to finish it off.
Tonight I canned my first batch of tomatoes - I made into a nice crushed sauce thing. They are ripening in batches where I can do about 3 jars at a time, so I will be canning once a week for a few weeks.
But here are some of the cool things I have already started from my Pinning... :)
I have already made all the letters, I am going to mount them to wood block I think, and place on the wall in the kids space in the basement.
Then I just got some frames for this idea:
which I am going to combine with this...
and I will take some pics of my final products!
