Time flies!!

Well, I start and then I have to remember to continue!  Ha!  Life has definitely been busy since my first post.  Finishing up some of my daughter's gifts, helping with planning my mother-in-laws 50th, then my fabulous four-year-olds birthday party!  Wow - not to mention the party constant happening in my large watermelon sized belly.  One of my preggo apps says 11 days to go.... and then #3 is "due" but due-dates are just estimates, just like age is just a number right?!

Anyway, I have a couple more things I would like to finish in the next 11 days - as once the third party animal arrives, my sewing days will be on maternity leave for a while... although I might just post about life with 3 kids :-)
I was thinking of trying to accomplish the following:
  • scratch mittens for bambino (highly unlikely to get done...)
  •  finish another birthday gift project for a "lil" friend...
  • finish Keysha's dusting mit....if I can figure out how to do sharp serging circles...my mother-in law gave me a couple of tips...

But here are a couple of things I went around and took pictures of to add to the "YAY - I MADE THIS" Wall.... (again only Iphone photo quality )

Cloth Book:  For my precious son's Birthday...
This was a rather easy project as it was just a panel and you cut, pin, follow the instructions and sew... of course I made mistakes.. but oh well...I'm not a perfect seamstress by any means... and it's the thought that counts right?

Ruffle addition to my daughter's dress...
So she got this beautiful dress for Christmas, but it is sized really strange and was a miniskirt on her.  So I decided to add some length to it, so it can last her while she plays so hard, and doesn't have to worry about flashing everyone...

These last 2 are old projects I did back in November maybe?  But things for my son's room....It's gotta be a deere....
Body Pillow cover
Wall hanging decoration
Wow it's funny, as I post I realize there are some more things I made recently that I need to take some pictures of and get on here!  Like my first attempt at some jewelry for my daughter, and a stuffed ball for my son... those turned out as great Valentine's gifts for my kids! But it will have to wait until next time.....
so stay tuned...ha ha

Happy sewing, crafting, childrearing, working, etc... and have a great weekend!
Renee
